2008 ANNUAL ASPHALT PAVING AWARDS
FEDERAL AID SECONDARY |
Bituminous Roadways won the 2008 MAPA Federal Aid Secondary Award. This award is given to projects displaying excellent teamwork and dedication to improving Minnesota’s infrastructure in a safe, efficient, and economical manner. The project sited for outstanding accomplishment was the State Highway 149 project between Albano Trail and State Highway 55 in Eagan and Inver Grove Heights. The project consisted of reconstructing a existing 2 lane road into a 4 lane divided highway with the addition of upgraded controlled intersections and an additional controlled intersection. The project was approximately 2.7 miles in length requiring approximately 70,000 tons of asphalt. The project manager was Anthony Koop and the paving crew consisted of Craig Deslauriers – Paving Foreman, Joe Derner, Dave Silva, Chuck Jennings Dave Bourgoin, Jon Bourgoin and Lonnie Olson. |

2007 NAPA QUALITY IN CONSTRUCTION AWARDS
Bituminous Roadways Inc., again won two NAPA Quality in Construction Awards. The projects receiving these awards were the Super Target Store in Burnsville, Minnesota and the Super Target Store in Edina, Minnesota. |

2006 NAPA QUALITY IN CONSTRUCTION AWARDS
Bituminous Roadways Inc., wins two NAPA Quality in Construction Awards. These awards are presented by the National Asphalt Pavement Association in recognition of hot-mix asphalt (HMA) pavements in excellence. The two award winners are the parking lot for the Super Target in the Knollwood Mall in St. Louis Park and the State Gateway Trail. |
